Message from the Technical Program Chair

The International Conference on Engineering and Technology Education - INTERTECH'2016 is once again happening and I have to say that it has been a great pleasure to count with the all the collaborations to the congress.

INTERTECH as a traditional congress in the field of engineering and technology education happens for more than 25 years and that has been accomplished always reaching its goal. We are sure that once again the congress has provided an opportunity to advance communication between academics, researchers and industry. With participants from around the world scientists from the university, the industry, and young researchers had the chance to network and exchange useful knowledge. It is another major contribution for the development and dissemination of scientific achievements for the welfare of human kind.

We are very glad to have had this XIV edition of INTERTECH in Salvador that is a city steeped in history with a rich cultural heritage. It is a vibrant city, known for its history, as well as its baroque scenario. We could never forget to point out the host Institution State University of Bahia principally the local committee members who made a great job.

Together we have organized an exciting congress with a wide representation of fields, specializations and interests. The program included a variety of panels and roundtables designed to present cutting-edge research and theory. This successful congress program was possible thanks to the hard work of all staff members, reviewers and the local committee. We are sure that the congress has contributed to enlighten and provide a unique experience to all who took part in the event.

I would like to thank each of authors and participants for their collaborations, for attending the congress and bringing their expertise to our gathering.
