Message from the Technical Program Chair

As the Technical Program Committee, I want to express how we are glad that you have accepted our invitation to join this edition of WCCSETE - World Congress on Computer Science, Engineering and Technology Education.

This edition of WCCSETE counts with the priceless work of the board and local committee who have prepared an exciting program as well as featuring world-renowned speakers; the congress includes also numerous interactive elements involving the audience. As usual WCCSETE provides a unique opportunity for researchers and scientists to present their scientific studies, during the technical sessions.

The collaborations of authors are of great value and surely enlighten the event of top quality. It is always important to point out the importance of face-to-face exchange of ideas and researches among peers, due to the opportunities of collaborative work that can occur. Besides scientific publication papers presentations are also of great importance for the enhancement of creative and dynamic science and technology development.

We have to thank indeed the local committee in the person of Prof. José Carlos Metrôlho, director of ESTCB - School of Engineering of Castelo Branco, and Prof. José Salvado, former chair of the IEEE Education Society Chapter Portugal Section for the great work and efforts to make this WCCSETE edition a success.

As a congress is not only a place for transfer of knowledge but also for learning about the host country and its people and we are sure that it is a great experience to be in Castelo Branco, Portugal, a city full of history, culture and beauty, considered as an outdoor Museum.
