Benito Álvarez Ovide received his title as Electronic Engineer at the ITBA University. He was director of the Electronic Engineering Department at ITBA where he works as a professor. Since 2004 he is in charge of the Academics’ Affairs Office. Prof. Álvarez Ovide is Director of the Argentine Center of Radio and Electromagnetic Compatibility (CAERCEM). He has published several papers on Biological Effects of Non Ionizing Radiation. Currently he is researching in biological and cultural risks posed by Cell Phone technology. He devised a broadband antenna in UHF-Band and holds some patents in Radio technology measurement systems. He was a member of several research projects in Radio technology.
