Dr. Claudio da Rocha Brito is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Currently is the Chancellor of International Institute of Education (IIE), President of Science and Education Research Organization (COPEC) and President Emeritus of IEEE Education Society (Education Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc). He is also President of Fishing Museum Friends Society (AAMP), President of (Brazilian) National Monitoring Committee of "Internationale Gesellschaft für Ingenieurpädagogik" (IGIP), Jr Past President of IEEE Education Society, Vice President of International Council for Engineering and Technology Education (INTERTECH), Vice President of World Organization on System Engineering and Information Technology (WCSEIT), Vice President of Safety Health and Environment Research Organization (SHERO) and Vice President of World Organization on Communication and Arts (WCCA). Dr Brito is PhD, Dr. rer. nat. habil. and Eta-kappa-nu. He is also Member of Strategic Planning Committee of IEEE Education Society since 2009, Board Member of "Global Council on Manufacturing and Management" (GCMM) since 2004, Director of Brazilian Network of Engineering (RBE) since 1998, Member of Board of Governors of International Council for Engineering and Technology Education (INTERTECH) since 2000 and Member of Board of Governors of IEEE Education Society since 2001. He was Chairman of Working Group "Ingenieurpädagogik im Internationalen Kontext" (2002-2018) and Member of International Monitoring Committee in IGIP (2004-2018), President of Brazilian Chapter of IEEE Education Society (2000-2002), Vice-President of Réseau Carthagène d`Ingénierie (Cartagena Network of Engineering) (2007-2009), Chair of Intersociety Cooperation Committee of IEEE Education Society (2009-2011), Secretary of Santos region of SBPC - Brazilian Association for the Advancement of Science (1994-1996), Adviser for International Subjects of the Presidency of Brazilian Society for Engineering Education (ABENGE) (1997-1999), Dean of International Relations of SENAC School of Engineering and Technology (1998-2002), Member of Executive Committee of Asociación Iberoamericana de Instituciones de Enseñanza de la Ingeniería - ASIBEI (Iberian-American Association of Engineering Education Institutions) (1997-1999), Councilor of Urban Development City Council (CMDU) (1999-2002) and Councilor of Economics Development City Council (CDES) (1999-2002). Dr. Brito received the B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering, M. Sc. In Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of University of São Paulo, B. Sc. in Physics from the Institute of Physics of University of São Paulo, B. Sc. in Mathematics from the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of University of São Paulo, B. Sc. in Mathematics Education and B. Sc. in Physics Education, both from the Faculty of Education of University of São Paulo. He was Director of Enterprise Incubators of University of São Paulo (ENUSP), Coordinator of the Cooperative Program of the Polytechnic School of University of São Paulo, Academic Coordinator of the Polytechnic School of University of São Paulo, Coordinator of the Computer Engineering Program of Polytechnic School of University of São Paulo, Coordinator of Cubatão Campus of University of São Paulo, President of Committee of Informatics of Brazilian Federation of Engineering Associations (FEBRAE) and Representative of the Engineering Computer in Network of Integration and Academic Mobility of UNESCO. He is "Deputy Governor" of the International Biographical Association "and" Deputy Director General "of the International Biographical Centre. He has his biography published in "Who's Who in the World", "Who's Who in America", "Who's Who in Science and Engineering", "Five Thousand Personalities of the World", "Dictionary of International Biography", "Men of Achievement" and various other similar publications. Although born in São Paulo, he received from City of Santos the title of "Santos Citizen" and he was also the first American Professor to receive the title of "International Engineering Educator" of IGIP. He also received several international medals, including two by appointment of Queen Elizabeth II of England. He received numerous honors due to his services to Scientific Commonwealth and Technological Cooperation among them: the Centennial Medal of the Polytechnic School, Award of the International Council on Engineering and Technology Education, Award from the International Council on Engineering and Computer Education, Award of Recognition of International Society for Engineering Education, Medal of the International Biographical Association, Medal of the International Biographical Centre, Medal of the New York Academy of Sciences, Medal of Brazilian Association of Civil Engineers, he is in the "Hall of Fame" of the American Biographical Institute. He was patron of several classes where we emphasize 1st Class of Computer Engineering of Polytechnic School of University of São Paulo and 1st Class of Computer Engineering from Catholic University. He is Senior Member of IEEE and Senior Member of IGIP. He received the IEEE Edwin C. Jones Jr. Meritorious Service Award 2011. He has over three hundred and fifty published articles in several conferences and journals. He wrote the chapter "History of Electrical Engineering" in the book commemorating the 100 years of the Polytechnic School of USP and he wrote 18 chapters in books of the series "Schriftenreihe Ingenieurpädagogik" (series of publications on Engineering Education) published by Leuchtturm-Verlag of Austria. He was a consultant of various federal and private universities; in many companies and magazines such as "Small Companies, Big Business". He implemented Engineering Programs in several universities like the Computer Engineering Program and Communication Engineering Program at the Catholic University, where he organized and became the first head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He did the same at Lusiada University Center (UNILUS), where he was also the first head of Department of Sciences at the creation of the University Center and for three terms. He was also Professor of Santa Cecilia University and University of State of São Paulo. He has taught courses and lectures in five continents over 30 different Countries
