Arody Cordeiro Herdy is the Dean of UNIGRANRIO – Universidade do Grande Rio Prof.José de Souza Herdy. He has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Faculdades Reunidas Nuno Lisboa (1977) ; he is post graduated in Academic Management at UERJ – Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (1991);he is also post graduated in University Management at UNESA – Universidade Estácio de Sá (1995);he has a master’s degree in Soil Mechanics and Foundations (Master of Science) at University of Florida, USA (1980);he has teaching experience in high school and university courses, working in the area of Applied Sciences and Engineering; he has already developed researches at University of Florida in the Civil Engineering area; he is currently the Dean of UNIGRANRIO – Universidade do Grande Rio Prof. José de Souza Herdy. He is a member of the Deans Council of Brazilian Universities, member of Regional Council of FIRJAN, member of the Higher Education Brazilian Association Supporters,member of the Private Universities National Association and member of the Fiscal Board of Integration Center Company-School (CIEE).
