Valnice Sousa Paiva is Educator and Master of Education and Contemporary Times. She is Assistant Professor at the State University of Bahia - UNEB, Leader of the research group TIPEMSE - Technologies, Pedagogical Innovation and Social Mobilization for Education. She works in Classroom Education and Distance Education with the objective to study the ICT - Information and Communication, developing actions for Research, Education and Extension viewing to contribute to the emergence of the practice of production and socialization of knowledge through audiovisual media and from various resources available on the web simultaneously, thus exploiting the potential of social networks, AVAS, etc. For this, she works to train educators and community empowerment to the consolidation of authorship, autonomy, individual or collective production of knowledge and products in the area of Education, Communication, and as a fundamental human rights principle. Prof. Valnice Sousa Paiva coordinated and participated in several of organizing committees of events, where we highlight the following conferences that she was the Local Chair: WCCA'2015 (World Congress on Communication and Arts), INTERTECH'2016 (International Conference on Engineering and Technology Education) and SHEWC'2016 (Safety, Health and Environment World Congress).
