Dr. Carlos Afonso Teixeira, born in Chaves (Portugal), is Assistant Professor at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) and Investigator of CITAB - Centre for Research and Agro-Environment and Biological Technologies. He is the Director of the 1st cycle in Environmental Engineering at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD). He is currently the Coordinator of Environmental Engineering College of OERN (Institute of Engineers of Portugal – North Region). He is also author and reviewer of scientific papers in scientific journals Waste Management and Waste Management and Research.
