Fernando de Almeida Santos, reelected president of the Northern Region of the Ordem dos Engenheiros (OE), for the period 2013 - 2016, born in Braga, is 45 years old and graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Minho (1991). He is an engineer specialist "Safety Engineering" assigned by the Ordem dos Engenheiros (2000), with a master MBA – Project Management of Construction and Property at Instituto Superior Técnico de Lisboa (2003). He is a member of the National Executive Board of OE since 2004 and Vice Chairman of the Management of APSET - Portuguese Association of Health and Safety at Work, since February 2007. Among other company that is connected, is the President of Tabique - Engenharia, Lda, a company providing services in the area of ??Security Coordination and Occupational Health in Construction. It is frequently invited lecturer in postgraduate courses related to the field of Project Management and Safety Coordination in the Construction Industry, nationwide and internationally.
