Prof. Dr. Marcel Mendes
 
 
Marcel Mendes is Civil Engineer (Mackenzie, 1971); Specialist in Didactics in Higher Education (Mackenzie, 1998); Specialist in Evaluation (UnB, 1998); Master in Education, Arts and History of Culture (Mackenzie, 1999); and Doctor in Science – concentration area: Social History (USP, 2006). Marcel was Full Professor and Director of the Engineering School of Mackenzie Presbyterian University and, also, Vice-rector of the same University, Presidency Cabinet Chief and Logistics and Supply Manager of the Mackenzie Presbyterian Institute. He is author of books, chapters of books, essays in periodicals and magazines. Marcel acts as researcher- professor, taking part in three research groups registered on CNPQ, with focus on the following areas: Educational Evaluation, Teaching and Research in Engineering and Architecture, Science and Technology History in Brazil and Protestantism History in Brazil. He was member of the Director’s Council of MACKPESQUISA – Mackenzie Research Fund – and member of the Teaching, Research and Extension Council of the Mackenzie Presbyterian University.
