The Global Congress on Engineering and Technology Education – GCETE’2005, happened in Bertioga and Santos, seashore of São Paulo State in Brazil, on March 13 to 16, 2005.

The theme of the congress was: "Engineering and Technology Education Trends".

The official languages were English, Spanish and Portuguese.

The host Institution was UNISANTOS – Catholic University of Santos.
